"in a decade or so"? Where did they find this oracle of future inventions? Can they predict the stock markets as well? I think that if you are predicting scientific inventions a decade out you are probably guessing. It's possible in some cases, wireless sensor systems for example were fairly accurately predicted (though where is my Smart Dust and UWB radio?) Battery chemistry does not seem predictable yet, along with chemistry in general. Or has chemistry advanced in some way recently?

A lot of hype, but this paragraph looks interesting:
